Fin has worked in the Rail Industry for the last 13 years in both Techincal and Project Management Roles, working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK.

Fin’s experiences in managing projects and passion for innovation lead him to co-found Project Control Tools. Fin’s vision is to make a huge impact in the Rail and Construction sectors. By creating simple, effective & easy to use software solutions for all levels of Project Teams, he hopes to enhance the way we all work for the better.

Outside of work Fin likes to keep fit and spend time with family & friends.

James Staines

James has worked as a Health & Safety professional for most of his career working in various sectors including Rail, Construction and Shipping.

James’ role has enabled him to work with many great people all over the world during his career. The experience also lead him to co-found Project Control Tools which allows him to follow his passion of providing continuous improvement to businesses.

James enjoys golf when his schedule allows but mostly spending time with family.

David Brophy

David started his development life working for Newcastle based Orchard Information Systems progressing through to System Analysts before leaving the UK for Columbus, GA. Here he headed up the development for Kodak Polychrome Graphics entire production system before returning to the UK full time.

David founded Waymark IT Limited in 2011 transferring his passion for technology to providing bespoke software for companies of all sizes across the UK. With the team at Waymark he helped shape and deliver both the ethos of the company and the systems they designed and implemented.

From here, with his team, embarked on product development ventures with Project Control Tools, underpinning the product vision with the technical skills and support.

Jason Hylton-Jones

Jason naturally progressed into software development after designing, and building successful music websites while at school to assist his music production hobby. He then moved onto furthering his education in advanced engineering, mainly around theory.

During this time, he built websites and run successful music events throughout the UK in his spare time.
After education, Jason then started an advanced apprenticeship in Software Development, and quickly progressed to a highly qualified full stack software developer and architect.

Becoming a co-founder of Waymark in 2011, Jason has been instrumental in building the team. Jason’s strenghts lie in managing and coordinating the team, and processes, to deliver bespoke software projects and turnkey products while participating in defining the company strategy and innovation.

Claire Mackie

Claire started her career at Sage working on their flagship Payroll products and new online services. Through that work she developed a passion for working closely with users and developing world class software.

Since joining Claire has implemented huge efficiencies in the development process. With her years of experience and passion for user-centric design
Claire is an integral cog in turning user requirements into new features.

Outside of work Claire trains and competes in agility with her cocker spaniel Layla. In her downtime she’s keen gamer and avid movie fan.

Henry Silverwood

Henry previously worked in the Rail Resource industry supplying some of the country’s largest infrastructure projects such as Cross Rail, NWEP and HS2. Prior to that he was a key account manager for a large financial institution.

Henry’s role has enabled him to build long lasting relationships within the Rail sector. His role at Project Control Tools enables Henry to further develop his passion for building strong relationships and provide continuous improvement and innovations to businesses.

Out of work, Henry is a competitive Road Cyclist where you will find him cycling in the Peak District (Or in the café).

Ben Anderson

Ben has many creative endeavours outside of software, with hobbies and passions in Music Production, Illustration and Sketching, Photography and Videography and he is also a keen Baker.

This creativity translates to his software development work; when presented with a problem, Ben comes with a creative and effective solution.

Outside of Ben’s creative hobbies he is also a Car Enthusiast, having previously owned and driven high performance sports cars, and can be frequently spotted in the Gym.

Alex is a vastly trained and experienced Graphic Designer with a wide spectrum of projects, ranging from Network Rail to Triumph Motorcycles.
